Roosevelt Forest - Going for a Walk by a local neighbor

October 18, 2021

The pleasure of walking along the path to the Boy Scout Camp is one of the memories I share with my dog Charlie, who has passed along a few years now, yet remembered fondly as I consider getting a new puppy.

That forest walk is one of the many natural interests found in Roosevelt trails along with the animals that call it home. It is in our interest to make certain that no damage comes to it as a result of excessive construction within the area. No one wants any of the streams contaminated by foreign soils or the habitats of any of its unique species forced to scavenge food and shelter in peoples' yards due to excavation near the forest edge.
